O Mai Khan Restaurant Review Location: Baguio City ( near SM)
Positive Aspects: Wide selection of sea foods, Mongolian buffet, eat-all-you can vegetables and fish and bits of meat.
Desserts that are simple yet delightful to taste:Jello with cream and other pastries
Ambiance: Cozy, family oriented, wide, artistic colors and sophisticated eating place compared to other restaurants in Baguio
Comfort Room: Clean, organized, complete amenities like soaps, mirrors, working bathroom locks and sinks
Staff: With hair nets, friendly
Grade: A-
I give this restaurant 3 Stars, higher than any rating I could give other restaurants in the City of Baguio. O Mai Khan is a good dining place for the family and for dating as well, the place is charming, if you want to feel glamorous ....go to this place, you will surely love the food. Big servings. I did love the food especially the shirley temple drink and the Jello with cream. I also love their chicken drumstick however I do not recommend their meal with sardines and egg omelet because it is too salty.
How much money do you need? is the place affordable: Well it is not affordable for students, it is not a place for a group of people who want to stay for several hours, this place is meant for special occasions like birthdays, romantic dinners, meetings but is not a place for a chit-chat. If you have a tight budget then this is not the place to go, Two people will spend 700 pesos minimum if they want to entertain themselves, as a family or group of 5-6 you will need at least 2,000 to 3,000 to go here. The good thing here is that you will love the food especially the ones that have seafood in it, the shrimp as the highlight.

In short O' Mai Khan is for tourists, foreigners and people who want to make an important celebration in their life.

Negative aspects: Due to the influx of people, due to the high volume of people going here during 6pm onwards every day it would be better to dine around 9 am to 11pm or 2 to 4 pm in order to avoid being ignored by the servers. They are still lacking staff which is why your order could take some time before it arrives. It would be best to call in early if you really want to try this place, make early reservations in order to avoid being seated outside. The staff is friendly but you would expect delays on their service once the rush hour begins and this can cause you to get annoyed.


Regarding their eat all you can selection, i have heard a rumor that they do not serve the vegetables fresh, they go to the market during the evening and purchase not so fresh vegetables, and they do not serve fresh tofu either. It would be best to avoid the eat-all you can offer according to the person who has previously worked there. Well i have not confirmed this allegation, i am just writing this in the hopes that some real worker would be able to shed light on this fact.

why britney spears is still better than lady gaga

 Why I still love Britney Spears even after all this years:
1. I grew up listening to her music, and she just simply has grown, changed, developed, she is an evolving story to me and to many people in the 90s. She continues to be an icon, and an epitome of youth.

2. she is original and strives to acknowledge the concepts that she has taken from Madonna and other artists. She knows how to honor the people who started the trends first.

3. despite the  nervous breakdown, the bad publicity, the divorce, the struggles- she still amazes me. She has had to put up a lot of confidence lately, the media has destroyed her so much, once an image of success, now a singer and performer who is trying her best to win the hearts of fans once again. I admire her for continuing to change the way she looks, for trying to reinvent herself. for not giving up.
4. she might not be a suitable role model for any body, but i salute her for not once ever producing racist comments, for never creating videos that are obvious rip-offs, for starting it all together with Mariah Carey. Many people forget the she is a style icon. a most beloved and comely face to have arrived in the music scene.
5. yes she is old, sometimes she looks fat, sometimes she looks glorious but so what, in the year 2011 she has proven to be a great performer, continues to produce amazing videos. Well there are a lot of newcomers nowadays like Katy Perry, the likes of Adelle, NIkki MInaj, rihanna and all that, but Britney Spears has this whole story to her music, i feel like the ranting is real, the songs, the emotions, the lashing out, the bad ass attitude that she exudes--is honest. SO i still like her better than the nightmare I call Lady Gaga.

 Many people would love to see her rise up again. to see her up there again, people can relate with her and that is what amazes me, while Lady Gaga just feels fake and unreal to me. or perhaps i started to hate her for not respecting or giving tribute to Madonna and Cyndy Lauper.

DOnt get me wrong, i really liked Lady Gaga when she first came out, but now seeing that her works are mostly rip-offs and that she is a fame monster. and that she started this crappy video sensations by producing the songs Judas Baby and having this ugly collaboration with Beyonce, I really hated the video, Beyonce should have never been paired with Lady Gaga, beyonce is so much more.

Reasons why I chose Britney over Lady Gaga
1. Lady Gaga- unoriginal ( enough said)
2. Lady Gaga despite the numerous costumes still looks ugly, well thanks to her costumes by the way we can somehow look at her, but at times the costumes that she wears,,,is simply too cliche. since it is too weird, it now became normal, thanks to her we have Nikki minaj, an eye sore.
3. She is trying too hard to act like Madonna, trying too hard to set a trend that was already here for hundreds of years. she started this whole annoying era of auto tuner artists and overly dressed people. i miss the simple days, the simple videos, the fresh breeze of videos, the world of Music videos became too plastic and theatrical because  of her, while some call it art, i call it a nuisance, annoying, it is beautiful at first then gets really annoying afterwards. Lady Gaga is sickening after several months. I am no longer impressed by the songs and i have yet to hear a hit that really feels genuine. yes she writes her materials,but it still feels like everything is a rip-off
come on now be real Lady Gaga. be real, im tired of you. I would rather have Britney Spears and the 90s pop back again than look at you and all your clones. honestly i feel bad for artists who follow Lady Gaga. it just feels bad weird to listen to her now.

the glee project results for 2011

The Glee project 2011 results
Damian and Samuel won the competition while the other two Lindsay and Alex would be given 2 episodes appearances on Glee: so all in all it is a win win situation.

Do i agree with the results? For damian yes, for samuel not so much. While it cannot be denied that Samuel has talent, i have seen it before, The typical rocker style, lost, rugged looking, rebel without a cause look, with dreads. I just don't like the guy, the way he acts---it does not feel genuine, is not captivating. What I worry the most if that he is A christian boy, well, his mother does not want him to mix with homosexuals. talk about fundamentalists way of thinking. how is Samuel going to deal with this, homosexuality is not a sickness.

The positive result:

 However, I do appreciate the fact the they have acknowledged the charming and fresh presence of Damian. Damian is just a fresh breeze, it does not seem that he is trying that hard, he just loves what he does, laid back. He reminds me of David Archuleta( American idol). his youth and charm would be perfect for Glee,as well as his stunning vocals, reminds you of a younger Michael Bubble only more fun to hear and look at.

Why Lindsay and Alex did not win
The other competitors Lindsay---well while Lindsay is good looking, i am afraid she is also too typical, she is trying so hard to be like Rachel Berry that the character is lost, she has failed to create a personality
 i wish she would have sang another song and worn another dress during the last song performance, she would have made an edge towards Samuel., while Alex, chose the wrong song. Alex has this bright personality, hard to guess. i am looking forward to her role in Glee.
